2011's cny unlike the usual cny I had back then. This year my cny is without the one i adore the most,my popo.
This year preparation for cny wasn't as fun like those years where my cousin and I will be decorating my grandma's house with all sorts of red stuff. Washing the house's floor and "skating" on the slippery floor full with soap. Which got us scolded by our grandma. The feeling of can't wait to sit around the table to have our reunion dinner. The moment to wait for her to take the first scoop before we can have ours. The moment of sleeping over at our grandma house with all my cousins during cny, although there isn't much place to sleep,but we don't mind sleeping 3-4 people on a bed. These moments, no longer I will have them although I yearn for it to be forever.
This year's reunion dinner I had it at my mom's family. Although it wasn't as bad as what I thought but the feeling is totally different. I do not feel excited about it at all.
The usual chu1, me and my cousins will rise and shine really early. We were scared to be scolded by our grandma. She wants us to wake up early because there will be people coming to 'bai nian'. Of course we are excited about it too. We want our angpows from her and all the adults. All of us will not wear any dark coloured clothes because we will get scolded by her. Red is the best colour of course(: After we got our angpows and prepared ourselves with the nicest dress/shirt. We will definitely take a picture of her with all my cousins.

As for this year, me and my family stayed at my mom's brother place. We didn't wake up early. Cause no point waking up early since we are not going for any visitation to anywhere. Sit there wait for the time to pass, till afternoon, then we went to my aunt's house. At least I had some fun at my aunts house with my cousin.
Feeling so lifeless this cny. No point celebrating cny also this year. But I know I have to get used with this new way of celebrating cny without her:(
Cny is going to end soon. Anyway, still Happy Chinese New Year people. Do appreciate the people around you always(:
